The short version

Folibird works offline. Your documents never leave your computer, and the app contains no analytics, tracking or advertising.

1. Controller

2. The app

• Your files: all PDF processing happens locally on your computer. We never receive your documents.
• Saved signatures are stored only on your computer.
• License activation: when you activate Folibird Pro, the app sends your license key and your computer’s name to Polar to verify the key. Your IP address is visible to Polar as part of the connection. The app may occasionally re-check the key in the same way.
• The app sends no other data over the internet.

3. Purchases

Polar is the Merchant of Record for our sales and processes your name, email, billing address and payment details to complete the order. See the Polar Privacy Policy. We receive your name, email and order details so that we can provide your license and support.

4. Website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider may keep short-term technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.

5. Email

If you write to us, we use your email only to answer you and keep the conversation for as long as needed to help you.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to processing and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO). To exercise your rights, email us.
