Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 October 2026
1. Who we are
Folibird (“the Software”) is developed and published by Kamil Skomski, Poland (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@folibird.com.
2. The Software
Folibird is a desktop application for working with PDF files. It runs entirely on your computer. The free version can be used at no cost for personal and commercial purposes. Use of the Software is also governed by the End User License Agreement shown during installation.
3. Folibird Pro
- Folibird Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks the Pro features in the Software.
- One license may be activated on up to 2 computers owned or used by the buyer. You can move a license by deactivating it in the Software first.
- Pro includes updates and new Pro features released for Folibird version 1.x.
- License keys are personal and may not be shared, resold or published.
4. Payments
Orders are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Polar, which handles payment, invoicing and sales tax (such as VAT). Polar’s own terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are shown on our website and in the checkout.
5. Refunds
We offer a 3-day money-back guarantee. Details are in our Refund Policy. A refunded license is deactivated.
6. Your files
The Software processes documents locally. We never receive, store or have access to your files. You are responsible for keeping backups of your documents and for having the right to edit or sign them.
7. Signatures
The Sign feature places an image of your handwritten signature on a PDF. It is not a qualified electronic signature. Whether such a signature is accepted for a particular document depends on the requirements of the other party and applicable law.
8. Liability
The Software is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always available on this page.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
